Ray Cho
Dr. Cho brings a unique perspective to the GMA team with his
combination of industry and academic experience. Starting as a bellman, he
has devoted his entire career to the hospitality and gaming field. He quickly
ascended to leadership roles in both operations and corporate management. He
has worked for global brands including Hilton and Hyatt. In the corporate
realm, he has extensive analytics experience generating strategic
data-driven insights and working in a variety of gaming markets. Today, he is
currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Gambling Studies, a part
of the Rutgers University School of Social Work. Dr. Cho earned his PhD
from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where prior to that, he also
earned an MBA and an MS in Hospitality. He has presented his research in Japan,
Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, and throughout the United
States. Originally from Hawaii, Dr. Cho earned his undergraduate degree
from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
